Comparing Reports
Brand Insights reports are snapshots. Comparing compatible reports can reveal movement over time.
Before comparing
Confirm compatibility for:
- Stable Prompt Set or matched subset
- AI-system policy
- Geography
- Language
- Category and competitor scope
- Metric definitions
- Extraction and aggregation policies
When compatibility is partial, the report should identify the comparable subset. When compatibility is insufficient, trend metrics must be unavailable rather than estimated from incompatible data.
Changes observed after an optimization may support investigation, but they do not prove causality.
