Mention & Visibility
Mention & Visibility explains whether the target brand appears, how broadly it appears, and how its presence compares with the declared competitor set.
It answers:
- Is the brand present in relevant AI responses?
- Is visibility broad across prompts or concentrated in a few prompts?
- Which AI systems and intent groups show the strongest or weakest presence?
- How does the brand's presence compare with selected competitors?
- Which prompts and responses support the result?
Unless a metric explicitly states otherwise, response-level rates are calculated inside eligible prompt-system cells and then combined using the report's cell-balanced, prompt-balanced aggregation policy. Raw supporting counts and valid-cell coverage remain visible separately.
Headline metrics
Mention Coverage
The proportion of eligible valid responses that mention the target brand at least once.
eligible valid responses mentioning the target brand
/
eligible valid responses
Repeated wording inside one response does not create additional response-level coverage.
AI Share of Voice
The target brand's share of eligible brand-level mention units across the declared comparison set.

eligible mention units across the declared comparison set
Recommended mention unit: one eligible brand-level mention observation per brand per response. The metric must identify the competitor universe, response scope, aggregation policy, and treatment of repeated occurrences.
Recommendations, citations, sentiment, and entity relationships may help explain Share of Voice, but they are not silently included in the Mention Share of Voice numerator.
Prompt Reach
The proportion of eligible canonical prompts for which the brand appears in at least one valid response.
eligible canonical prompts with at least one valid brand mention
